AM I REALLY A MUMMY?
Raising girls
Time is flying. Our wee girls are currently 4 and 2. The daily routine of up, breakfast and go is soon to become more rigid as our eldest starts school this August. For now, we have been trying to structure their world with swimming and activity classes to help ground them. They are both confident, happy and content with playing in their home environment. I have tried to keep a step behind them to allow this and nurture their creative side whilst trying to carve out some time for myself between working as a GP and keeping the house in some sort of order. We don’t have family nearby so rely very much on our close friends to either share pick ups and drop offs or collaborate on a play date so a coffee can be enjoyed in (some sort of) peace.
